Canelli’s
Italian Eatery looks for online and local presence
Canelli’s Italian Eatery, one of Brampton’s best, wanted
a website to compliment their restaurant and brampton.com and their
growing parent company, Brampton Media Corp, were the natural choices.
With great feedback over the design process from the Kanellopoulos
family, the final product has been designed with the exact look
of their in-house menu. By offering more than just designing websites,
brampton.com has developed a marketing package to not only promote
Canelli’s, the restaurant, but to drive traffic to Canelli’s
new online venture. In doing so, Canelli’s was rewarded with
an instant return on investment from over 90 people clicking to
view their new website through their brampton.com e-newsletter sponsorship.

Lando Lighting Galleries
receives almost 300 visitors in 2 day promotion!
After launching their new website, Canada’s
Largest Lighting Showroom was curious to see the response. By offering
a $100 gift certificate through the brampton.com e-newsletter, they
received over 290 visitors in 2 days! For anyone who has been there,
the selection at Lando Lighting is very impressive. With thousands
of items available, they were looking for a better and more efficient
way to catalogue their inventory. To continue their tradition of
great service, re-directing their on-line customers to the suppliers'
inventory has made it easier for potential customers to search for
what they want. The feedback from the new website has been very
positive, as they have been receiving constant daily requests. Visit
the new site. |

| Toronto Paving Company
looks for website initiative Bomanite Toronto,
one of the GTA’s Paving Innovators, needed to develop a website
to show their concrete flooring and paving expertise. With spring
just around the corner, their recent TV ads needed a complimentary
web presence to better explain their workmanship. While being listed
on the parent company website was helpful, they felt that their
own website would be much more beneficial. By concentrating on what
they do best and focusing on their strengths, they are now better
positioned in their industry. They specialize in patios, decks,
floors and parks and also have completed many municipal contracts
for sidewalks, off ramps and pathways. View

Williams Financial Management shows how a
beneficial article can reward your business
Being one of the first to submit an article to the
3,500 businesses receiving Business Bytes, the BMC B2B e-newsletter,
Williams Financial didn’t know what to expect. After seeing
over 150 businesses clicking through to read their article, ’Self
Employed? 10 Ways to Reduce Your Taxes’, they obviously
were very pleased. When others see a direct value to your business,
you will be one of the first to come to mind when that particular
need is required. Williams Financial took advantage of the high
percentage of entrepreneurs in the area and is a good example of
how a beneficial article can raise the interest in your products
and services.

| Contest Sponsorship
Grows Mailing List Recently,
brampton.com teamed up with three other local businesses to run
a Win-a-Trip contest. This three month campaign brought together
a unique combination of online and offline advertising, in an all-round
win-win promotion that saw local resident Cathy Pickering chosen
as the winner of a one week all-inclusive trip for two to a Sandals
Resort. brampton.com coordinated the entire campaign, bringing together
diverse local companies in what can be described as a unique and
rewarding promotional partnership. On the surface it may seem like
a strange combination, however, having Humber Nurseries, Wong's
Restaurant and Travel Choice American Express come together to sponsor
this type of contest worked extremely well, and will set a blueprint
for future cross-promotional campaigns. The primary goal was to
help Humber Nurseries develop a customer email database. Giving
away a trip was a great way to invite customer participation. In
total over 1,500 official registrations were received over the May
to July campaign. Wong's Restaurant, realizing a potential audience
of close to 100,000 shoppers at Humber Nurseries joined in as a
co-sponsor. Travel Choice American Express kicked in as a travel
partner and official co-sponsor. All parties benefited from the
exposure, yet with the cost being shared among the sponsors, the
overall effect was a highly energized campaign at a minimum cost.

New Mini-Calendar Initiative Raises Traffic
6-fold!
“I
never knew there were that many events going on in Brampton.”
This has been the common response since we re-designed
our Home page to include a mini-calendar full of local events. With
15,000 page views, the little calendar packs a large punch. Only
commercial events directly benefiting your business will be charged.
All garage sales, non-commercial and charity events may be listed
at no cost. Have an event, go
ahead and list it! |
